Boliver Fire Dept. Recieves Tanker Truck

HARDEMAN CO. Tenn.- A fire department in West Tennessee got its very first tanker truck, thanks to funds provided by a grant. Bolivar’s Fire Chief, Lynn Price, says the department got the tanker last Friday and started training Saturday. He says they applied for a grant back in 2010 and finally got approved for the money last year. Price says it took them years get the tanker because of low funds. “This right here will help us be able to take more water to the fire scene,” said Price, who adds the tanker will help them save more lives.
