Police: One Person Shot in Leg After Sunday Shooting

EAST JACKSON — Jackson Police are searching for the person responsible for a shooting that happened early Sunday morning. The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday on the 20 block of Labelle Street. One person was reportedly shot in the leg. The victim was treated and released. Although police have interviewed a person of interest, no arrests have been made. The shooting is under investigation.
