Madison Co. shooting suspect returns to court

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man who called the WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News newsroom back in April before turning himself in to police in north Jackson returns to court.

Devoris Newson was arrested in April on multiple charges stemming from a shooting at a Madison County home.

He represented himself Monday during an arraignment hearing.

Newson is scheduled to return to court July 23.
