Scattered Thunderstorms Possible on Wednesday
Weather Update –11:00 p.m. – Tuesday, June 25th
After a hot, sunny, and dry day across West Tennessee, we have some changes in store for the weather tomorrow! Expect the chance for rain to increase over the next several days though with pop-up showers and thunderstorms more likely in the afternoon and evening hours.
TONIGHT
Mostly clear skies will continue in West Tennessee tonight with light winds from the south. There’s a very low chance for rain in our viewing area after a band of showers moving toward us from the southwest fizzled out just outside of Memphis. Most of the Mid-South will remain dry overnight with low temperatures in the upper 60s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in our area tomorrow, especially during the afternoon and later evening. We may not see rain everywhere but it’ll be hot everywhere with highs in the upper 80s. We’ll be watching out for localized heavy downpours and frequent lightning in the strongest thunderstorms.
