Lightning strike believed to have caused north Jackson house fire

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Madison County Fire Department says lightning is believed to have caused a house fire early Monday afternoon in a north Jackson neighborhood.

Fire officials say they received the call around 1:45 p.m. at a home on Huntington Place.

Officials say no injuries were reported in the fire.

The fire was under control shortly after crews arrived at the home.
