McNairy County woman seeks help to provide stray dogs a better life
RAMER, Tenn. — A local woman is asking for help to give dogs a better life.
Leigh Pipkins, who lives in Ramer, is known for helping animals in need.
Some dogs are dropped off at her home. Others, she says, are dropped out of vehicles that speed off.
She’s wanting to build dog runs on her land, but needs help with funding and materials.
She says she just wants to give stray dogs in McNairy County a better home.
“They’re all here because God put them here, and I seriously believe God is putting these animals in my path, and if I don’t honor what I’m suppose to do what good am I?” Pipkins said.
Pipkins is also working to become a 501-C 3 and be able to her own organization.
