Cold Front Coming Through Tuesday

Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. – Monday, August 26th

We’ve already had 3.36″ of rain in August so far which has 3.00″ on average for the whole month! There are still 5 days left but drier weather is what looks likeliest in the forecast after Tuesday. It’ll be a mostly uneventful night until the next round of showers and thunderstorms develops in the area tomorrow morning. Temperatures will only drop to the lower and middle 70s by sunrise.

A cold front coming through West Tennessee tomorrow will bring even more scattered showers and thunderstorms through in the morning and afternoon. Watch for locally heavy downpours out there, especially at the morning bus stop! Highs will be in the mid 80s but there’s cooler weather ahead with temperatures expected to be right about what they typically would be a month from now during the beginning of Fall.
