Police: Man Steals Money From Church

BRUCETON, Tenn. — Police arrest a man that they said entered a church as a guest, and ended up making off with money meant for a missionary trip, Sunday. Brian Matthew Ratcliff is charged with Theft under $500. Police say he went to First Baptist Church in Bruceton as a guest, left in the middle of the service and stole $100 that the church had raised for missionary. He was arrested Monday night and confessed. Ratcliff is being held on $1,000 bond. He is still in custody.
