Alert Neighbor Helps Police Make Burglary Arrest

JACKSON, Tenn. — An alert neighbor helped the police catch a burglary suspect in the Midtown area, Tuesday. The Jackson Police Department received a call from someone on Johnson Street around 8:20 PM,Tuesday. The caller noticed two individuals entering a house in the 300 block of Johnson Street. This house is being renovated. She saw them leaving the residence with some new windows from inside the house. The caller confronted the two suspects and one of them fled on foot. The police arrived and identified the suspect as Cody Michael Kulikowski, 19 of Jackson. He was arrested and charged with Burglary. The windows were recovered without damage and returned to the residence. Kulikowski was formally arraigned in Jackson City Court this morning and is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond. The other individual has not been identified yet, and the criminal investigation will continue.
