Jackson police seek person of interest in theft at Walgreens
JACKSON, Tenn. — According to a news release, Jackson police say they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a theft of property at the Walgreens on 3144 North Highland Ave.
Investigators say on January 10, a woman at the store asked the clerk to load a money card and once the transaction began, asked for cigarettes.
The woman then loaded $500 onto the card once the clerk turned to get the item and then fled the store without paying, according to investigators.
Surveillance video from the store shows the woman wearing gray yoga pants, a black long sleeved t-shirt, pink bonnet and glasses, according to the release.
