Downtown Mardi Gras Parade Canceled

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Organizers decided to cancel the annual Mardi Gras parade due to icy sidewalks and freezing temperatures. There will be a party at the Tavern on Tuesday starting at 4 p.m. as well as the crowning of the new King and Queen at 6 p.m.
