Jackson Statue of Liberty to be Dedicated

SOUTH JACKSON, Tenn. – You no longer have to go to the Big Apple to see the Statue of Liberty. It is now as close as south Jackson. Master Carver Ken Tynan has worked for weeks on the chainsaw sculpture of Lady Liberty. She was carved from a 100-year-old tree along Bond Street. Wednesday, the finished product will be officially unveiled during a ceremony at 11 a.m. John Garner, owner of Golden Circle Tire Pros, invites the community to the program and unveiling.
