Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge in Court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man who police say was involved in a December shooting near a barber shop was back in court, Thursday. Dequevion Lee is charged with attempted first degree murder in the Dec. 10 shooting on Lane Ave. Lee was caught by U.S. Marshals more than two months after the east Jackson shooting Dequevion’s brother, Moriarco Lee, was arrested about a week after the shooting. His case, also on a charge of attempted murder, has been sent to the grand jury. The 20-year-old victim testified against him during his preliminary hearing.
