Trooper Hit, Suspect in Custody
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms one of their troopers was hit by a driver on an ATV, late Friday morning. It happened in the parking lot of Walmart. According to the THP, the officer suffered a broken ankle. A suspect was quickly taken into custody. The person’s name has not been released. Investigators have not released the circumstances leading up to the incident.
