Convicted Felon Arrested After Search Warrant Yields Guns, Cash

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — Police have arrested a man after they say they discovered more than $16,000 in cash as well as guns at his home, last Friday. Edward Lee Robertson of Bolivar was arrested after a search yielded a small amount of marijuana, two handguns, $16,292 in cash and a prescription bottle of hydrocodone at the Maple Street home. Robertson is a convicted felon who is on parole. He has been convicted previously for drug charges. Robertson was also held on three warrants from the Bolivar Police Department which included possession with intent to deliver/sell/manufacture sch II cocaine of .5 grams or more, simple possession/casual exchange of marijuana, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III hydrocodone. As of Monday afternoon, Robertson was still in jail.
