Mock Wreck Sends Powerful Message
MIDDLETON, Tenn. — Students at Middleton High School learned a valuable lesson during a realistic mock wreck, Friday morning. Middleton Police planned the demonstration along with school officials to educate juniors and seniors about the dangers of drinking and driving, and driving while distracted. The event was held to discourage students from doing either of these dangerous activities during the upcoming prom season. Middleton Police, the Hardeman Country Sheriff’s Department, THP, Middleton Fire Department, Hardeman Country Rescue Squad, Hardeman Country Ambulance Department and a medical helicopter were all a part of the mock wreck.
