First case of coronavirus reported in Shelby County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Shelby County.

Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland confirmed the first case of coronavirus in a Tweet on Saturday.

Mayor Strickland says they will be monitoring the situation.
