Local physician confirms case of COVID-19 in Gibson Co. resident

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson physician has confirmed a patient at a north Jackson clinic tested positive for COVID-19, or coronavirus.

Dr. Peter Gardner at Physician’s Quality Care confirmed the positive result of a patient Monday.

Officials say that, while the patient tested positive in Madison County, they are a resident of Gibson County.
