NORTH JACKSON. — The Jackson Generals are continuing their home stand with the Mississippi Braves after winning their home opener on Wednesday. More than 3,600 fans came to the Ball Park at Jackson as the Generals pulled out a 4-2 win. Team officials say the Wednesday night crowd kept the concession crews busy throughout the evening. A big crowd is expected on Thursday for dollar night at the stadium. “[The] team played well,” Jason Compton, the general manger of the Generals said. “Just a great way to get the season started.
