Christians Across West Tennessee Celebrate Holy Week

JACKSON, Tenn. — Christians in West Tennessee and all over the world are taking part in services symbolizing the last week of the life of Jesus. Holy Week services began in Jackson at Skyline Church of Christ on Monday. During the Holy Week, worshipers will gather at different churches in the Hub City during the noon hour to worship and reflect on the resurrection of Jesus. Believers say it is an important part of their faith. “As we come together, we remember what he’s done for us and in turn we can go out and serve the community in a way that brings glory,” Terry Hunley said, President of Jackson Area Ministries Association. The week’s schedule is as follows: Monday – Skyline Church of Christ Tuesday – First Presbyterian Church Wednesday – St. Mary’s Catholic Church Thursday – First United Methodist Church Friday – Fellowship Bible Church
