JMCSS Students Have Art on Display

NORTH JACKSON — Local students’ art is on display at the Jackson-Madison County School district’s central office on North Parkway. The work of students from kindergarten through the 12th grade is featured, including everything from drawings to sculptures. School leaders say they’re excited to show off their students’ talent. “I want people to know that our students are very talented and they express themselves not only academically in the classroom, but artistically,” Dr. Versie Hamlett, Chief Academic Officer, said. The art will remains on display at the central office until May 15.
