Surveillance Video Released to Catch Shoplifting Suspects

NORTH JACKSON — Jackson police are hoping newly released surveillance video will help catch two women accused of stealing more than $100 worth of merchandise earlier this month. According to JPD, two women shoplifted from the Macy’s store on Old Hickory Blvd on April 4 around 2:41 and 3:23 p.m. A Macy’s employee said that he witnessed the two enter a fitting room with clothes then later saw the pair emerge without any of the items. After checking the fitting room, the employee said those items were not found. One of the women is described as 5’6 and about 180 pounds, and the other was described as 5’4 and 275 pounds. Both had dark hair and are believed to have left the scene in a silver Kia Spectrum.
