Local Strawberry Farmers React to Late Freeze

DRESDEN, Tenn. –We have an update about the strawberry farmers in West Tennessee who were worried about the freeze destroying their crops. At last report, farmers told us that their berries did OK Tuesday night. Both farmers at Green Acres Farm and Moore’s Strawberry Farms say they kept a close watch on their crop. The owner of Moore’s says he’s still watching the plants to make sure no damage is done. The plants should be ready for their scheduled picking date in May.
