Police Called to North Side High School After Incident Involving Employee

NORTH JACKSON — A man was arrested after allegedly striking another vehicle in the parking lot of North Side High School on Thursday morning. According to Lt. DeMoss with JPD, a couple got into an argument on Wednesday night that resumed Thursday around 6:40 a.m. when the woman involved made it to her job at North Side. The man involved in the argument, later identified as Larry Pruitt, allegedly threatened to come tow her car when she made it to work. After the woman, who had a friend in the car, parked, Pruitt allegedly ran into the back of the vehicle with his car. There was no major damage to the vehicle and no injuries in the incident. Pruitt was arrested for aggravated domestic assault. According to the JMCSS spokesperson, the man was apprehended by the school SRO and has been taken into custody. No students were involved.
