144 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Madison County
JACKSON, Tenn. — An additional person has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 144, according to the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department.
The newest case is a 60-year-old man, who is not currently hospitalized.
Health department director Kim Tedford says one patient is currently on a ventilator.
A total of eight COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized.
Tedford said none of the new cases this week have an unknown origin, and all of the most recent cases are tied back to a known case of COVID-19.
The health department released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.
