JEA receives utility service award
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Energy Authority has received the Diamond RP3 Award for the seventh time, according to a news release.
The award is the highest recognition given to power utilities from the American Public Power Association, the release says. The award is given to groups that show reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement.
JEA says they have received the award more than any other local utility in the association.
The American Public Power Association represents community-owned utilities in 2,000 cities across the country.
