JPD Conducts Special Patrols in Muse Park

JACKSON Tenn.,- Jackson Police officers were out on special patrols Sunday inside one of the city’s public parks. JPD tells WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News multiple officers were inside the park to keep the large crowd of residents inside safe. As WBBJ reported last week, officers responded to multiple calls of fighting inside Muse park last Sunday. Officials they were trying to prevent this type of violence, and crack down on drivers not following the one way street law on Sunday. JPD could not confirm if any arrests were made, or how many tickets were written Sunday. Officers say there were also no reports of fighting.
