Medina Students Duct Tape Principal in Effort to “Stick it to Cancer”

MEDINA, Tenn. — As the city of Medina prepares for its first Relay for Life fundraiser, students at the elementary school are getting into the spirit in a rather creative fashion. Medina Elementary School principal, Calvin Bailey, got a sticky surprise on Wednesday when students and teachers duct taped him to the wall as an effort to “Stick it to Cancer”. Bailey is an honorary chair for Relay for Life. Through fundraisers, Medina Elementary School has raised close to $4,000 for the American Cancer Society this school year. . Medina’s Relay for Life is Friday, May 30 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
