Humboldt Home Shot Into, Police Seek Information

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — An investigation is underway after a house was shot into several times early Tuesday morning. Humboldt officers responded to an address near Calhoun Street in reference to a shots fired call and discovered the home was shot into. Neighbors say they were shocked when they heard the loud, popping noises. “We were walking to Q-Mart and we were actually sitting on the bench waiting for our other friend to come,” Oscar Montana said, a neighbor. “And all we heard was ‘pap pap pap pap’ so we were like ‘those are gunshots’.” Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt Police Department at 731-784-1322
