Bradford Police Chief Fired

BRADFORD, Tenn. — Bradford Police Chief Scott Combs has been fired, according to the city attorney. WBBJ reached out to the City of Bradford and received this statement from Terri Crider, the Bradford City attorney. “The Bradford Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened a special called meeting on May 27, 2014, to discuss the employment of Police Chief Combs. The Chief’s job performance was discussed during the meeting and the Police Chief was given an opportunity to speak, after which a vote of 5-1 was made in favor of his termination.” Combs has been police chief in Bradford since December 2008.
