Career Coaches Assist Local Job Seekers

NORTH JACKSON — Wednesday, the jobless in Madison County, got hands on help in their search for work. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development brought its mobile career coach to the north branch of the Jackson-Madison County Library today. Counselors helped participants not only look for jobs but polishing up their interview skills and resumes. “We serve 21 counties in West Tennessee so it allows us to go to different locations, different venues and assist job seekers,” Sandy Barnett said, the mobile services coordinator. The career coach will be in Paris, Thursday, from 10 am until 2 pm .
