Rollover Accident on the 45 Bypass

NORTH JACKSON — A rollover accident caused a scary scene on Thursday morning. According to police, a teen driver tried to brake at the intersection of N. Parkway and the 45 Bypass, but did not slow down in time. He then swerved to avoid hitting a car and rolled into a ditch. No one was seriously injured, but the driver and a 10-year-old boy who was also in the car were taken to the hospital to be checked out. A third passenger wasn’t hurt. Police say they don’t believe speeding was a factor.
