SCOTTS HILL, Tenn. — Residents in Scotts Hill may have to pay higher water bills. City mayor Jessie Powers says the proposed increase is to help the town get out of the $1 million debt it’s currently in, and raising water rates would help that. Scotts Hill Alderman will be voting on the water increase during a meeting Monday night. The amount of the proposed increase has not been released. If approved, the increase will begin July 1.
