Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition between Jackson public service agencies to encourage blood donation. The agencies involved include: Medical Center EMS, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Jackson Police Department, Jackson Fire Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol. The group with the most participation percentage wins a trophy and a barbecue lunch from Reggie’s BBQ. Participants do not have to work for the any of the agencies competing, but everyone who donates their blood will receive a free t-shirt.
