Domestic Dispute Leads to Narcotics Arrest, Seizure

JACKSON, Tenn.- More than $6,800 in high grade marijuana was seized by officers. However, for now they are not naming their suspect. Friday evening, Jackson police were called to the 900 block of Prospect Avenue for a domestic disturbance during which they reported smelling marijuana. Metro narcotics officers searched the apartment, finding almost a pound and a half of marijuana, a loaded gun, ammunition and drug scales. Officers said they believe their suspect is a convicted felon, currently on parole.
