Humboldt police searching for man, 18, accused of rape

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man accused of rape. Investigators signed a warrant for Marquaz Dreshun Pettigrew, 18, on June 5 after they say he raped someone at Humboldt motel on May 24. According to Sgt. Williams at the Humboldt Police Department, Pettigrew is a Humboldt native and hasn’t been arrested for this crime. No other information about the case can be released at this time because the investigation is ongoing. If anyone knows his location please contact the Humboldt Police Department at 731-784-1322.
