Shots Fired in Lincoln Courts

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are investigating what appears to be a shoot out between buildings at Lincoln Courts, Monday evening. Dispatchers began receiving calls from concerned residents just before 8:30 p.m. The callers reported seeing three men, possibly juveniles, exchanging gunfire near Building 243. They said two males dressed in all black were chasing and shooting at the third person, who was dressed in white. Though officers recovered bullet casings, there were not reports of people or buildings being hit.
