Civil Rights Hall of Fame Inductions Wednesday
The Kentucky Civil Rights Hall of Fame inductions ceremony for 2012 is Wednesday in Lexington. The induction ceremony is set for two p.m. to four p.m. EDT at the Lyric Theatre with a reception to follow. Register to attend by calling the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights at (800) 292-5566, extension 18. A total of thirty-three people were nominated to the Hall of Fame this year. Names of the inductees will be announced at the ceremony. The ceremony follows the commission’s board meeting at nine a.m., also at the theater. The meeting is open to the public.
