Workers still repairing Bolivar sinkhole

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — Workers are still repairing a sinkhole responsible for swallowing a city truck last week. According to the Bolivar Public Works Director Lloyd Bell, the city hopes to have the road open by Wednesday –Thursday at the latest. Last Wednesday, a truck fell into the sinkhole near the intersection of Highway 18 and Tate Road. No one was hurt in the accident. The city has not disclosed how much this sinkhole will cost to repair.
