Man Accused of Kidnapping and Beating Woman
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. – Carroll County Sherrif‘s Deputies say a dangerous man is now off the streets after being arrested in Madison County. Randy Lewis Cary is accused of taking a woman he knows into a wooded area on Sunday and beating her for several hours. The woman told investigators Cary also threatened her with knives, brass knuckles, and a torch. Investigators attempted to arrest Cary at mother’s house but he fled on foot, Monday. Wednesday, authorities found Cary in near Jackson on Beech Bluff Road and placed him under arrest along with three other people after finding meth on the property. Sheriff Andy Dickson says they’ve been dealing with Cary since he was a juvenile for meth, weapons, and domestic abuse charges.
