WEST JACKSON — The new Miss Tennessee, Hayley Lewis, made her first public appearance as the crown holder at the Exchange Club Meeting on Tuesday. During her visit, the club presented two local high school seniors with the Hal Meredith-Exchange Club Scholarship. Miss Tennessee says she will use her platform to boost Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “And not only do you get a title, a really cool tiara to wear around, but you have this awesome opportunity to do something much bigger on a platform where you get to reach out to many more students,” Lewis said. Lewis will compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City in September.
