Search warrant lands Brownsville man in jail
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Brownsville officers executed two search warrants, leading to the arrest of one man and the seizure of drugs and paraphernalia on Wednesday. Officers searched 1016 E. Jefferson and 28 Channing Loop, where they recovered about 7 ounces of marijuana, nearly $1,000 cash, digital scales and a gun. Marquis Barken, who lives at 28 Channing Loop, is charged with possession of schedule VI drugs with intent and drug paraphernalia. Officers say additional charges could be pending after an investigation.
