Jackson Police investigating car burglary at JCM

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police are investigating a burglary of one of the football coach’s cars at Jackson Central-Merry High School. Thursday afternoon, an assistant coach told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he returned from a scrimmage at USJ to find someone had broken into his car. It was parked at the field house off Allen Avenue. He said the thief was able to get in his locked car without breaking a window, making off with his wallet. If you saw anything suspicious in the area, call Jackson Police at (731) 425-8400.
