Tate Road sinkhole almost repaired

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — Road crews say a sinkhole that swallowed a truck in Bolivar is almost repaired. The sinkhole on Tate Road is more than 90 percent complete and drivers should be able to pass through this weekend. The road has been closed since July 9 after a sinkhole developed during heavy rain. A utility worker’s truck fell into the sinkhole during the storm, but the driver was not hurt.
