NORTHEAST JACKSON — The Delta Faucet company hosted a scholarship reception to help students curb the rising cost of college. Money was awarded to students between the ages of 18 to 23 years old. Recipients must be children of employees who are seeking an undergraduate degree and be a full-time student. Organizers say the scholarships are about more than just giving away money. “We’re not just bringing their parents in here to work, but also what can we do for the rest of the family. One thing we can do is obviously help the kids out with a scholarship helping them with their education,” Mike Rohlwing said with Delta Faucets. A grade of a “c” or better must be maintained in order to qualify for the $1,000 scholarship.
