Woman Accused of Stealing from Bank for Drugs

A former bank employee has been indicted on a federal charge of stealing more than eighty-thousand dollars from a Hancock Bank branch in Biloxi to support her drug habit. Ashley Keel was indicted this week, but she had been charged in a criminal complaint in September. A complaint in U.S. District Court in Gulfport said Keel was the vault teller and admitted to FBI agents that she took the money to support an addition to Oxycodone.
