BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man who is possibly connected to a Camden homicide appeared in court for an arraignment on Wednesday. Eddie Lee Laws appeared in Benton County General Sessions Court to be formally charged with Felony Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. No additional charges were brought against Laws, as the investigation into Laws’ involvement last week’s killing of a 47-year-old man is still ongoing by the TBI. Laws’ bond was set at $20,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, and he is still being held at Benton County Jail.
