Fire department responds to fire at Jackson Dairy Queen

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at the Dairy Queen located on North Highland Avenue Wednesday morning.

Officials with the JFD say the cause of the fire was a grease fire that extended into the vent-a-hood duct work.

Officials say there is minor damage, and no injuries were reported.

It’s unknown if Dairy Queen will be temporarily closed.
