Two more suspects arrested in June robbery

JACKSON, Tenn. – The final two suspects in a violent armed robbery in June are in custody. According to the Jackson Police Department, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested the two, Tuesday afternoon. Brent Lambert, 20, of Selmer, was arrested around 1 p.m. in Selmer. Kevin Lane-Mayse, 20, of Michie, was arrested around 2 p.m. in Savannah. Lambert and Lane-Mayse are charged with aggravated robbery. That is the same charge filed against Quadarius Martin, 19, of Jackson, and James Daniels III, 18, of Henry County. Martin was arrested July 3. Daniels was arrested July 15. On June 28, a man said he was driving along Bayberry at Skyhave Drive when he saw Martin, who he recognized. He said he stopped and as he and Martin talked, three other men pulled him from his truck, hit him in the head with the butt end of a rifle and a beer bottle and took his cash. Lambert and Lane-Mayse are scheduled to be arraigned, Thursday, at 8 a.m. in Jackson City Court. A preliminary hearing for Martin and Daniels is scheduled for Thursday, at 1:30 p.m.
