Teen car theft case bound over to grand jury

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The case of the teen accused of stealing a car was bound over to the grand jury on Thursday. Jodarius Nicquan McNuckles, 18, is charged with theft of a motor vehicle over $10,000 and evading arrest after police say he stole a car from a fast food restaurant parking lot on July 12. Police say McKnuckles, of Jackson, was seen on July 13 driving a stolen 2013 Jeep Wrangler. McKnuckles fled on foot but was later arrested. McNuckles is being held on a reduced bond of $10,000 at the Criminal Justice Complex. He will appear in court again on Oct. 6.
